ராகு காலம் (Rahu Kalam)

எமகண்டம் (Yamagandam)
எமகண்டம் என்பது யமனின் ஆதிக்கம் கொண்ட நேரம். இது மரணத்தின் தேவதையான யமனுடன் தொடர்புடையது. இந்த நேரத்தில் எந்த நல்ல காரியத்தையும் தொடங்குவது நல்லதல்ல.

குளிகை காலம் (Gulikai Kalam)
குளிகை காலம் என்பது சனி கிரகத்தின் புதல்வரான குளிகனின் ஆதிக்கம் கொண்ட நேரம். இது ராகு காலத்தை விட குறைவான தீமை என்றாலும், முக்கிய செயல்களை தவிர்ப்பது நல்லது.
Gulikai Kalam is ruled by Gulikan, son of Saturn. Though less severe than Rahu Kalam, it is advisable to avoid important activities during this period.
